CyberFirst Competition For Girls In Year 8
The CyberFirst Girls Competition aims to inspire Year 8 girls interested in technology to pursue a career in cyber security. The Computer Science Department would like to enter a team into this year's competition. If your daughter is interested in cyber security and would like to tackle challenges from cryptography and logic to artificial intelligence and networking, then please encourage her to contact Mr Musson via TEAMS chat.
Cyber security is taught in Year 8 Computer Science lessons this term, with extra support provided in the Tuesday lunchtime club sessions in November to help pupils prepare.
Prizes include a brand-new laptop for those in the winning teams.
More information on the competition can be found here.
