Success For Brothers Henry and Isaac With The Royal Shakespeare Company

Henry and his brother Isaac joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford last month. Following some pretty tough auditions, they have been successful in gaining roles in the company and will perform as Princes Edward and York in the new Play Richard III.

Henry performed on opening night last week and will be busy performing in the play throughout the summer until the beginning of October. We wish them all the best for these amazing roles and hope they enjoy the whole experience of being on stage in such a fantastic environment.

Duke Of Edinburgh’s Awards

Well done to all Gold, Silver and Bronze participants who have completed their qualifying expedition over the last couple of weeks. Good luck to the rest of Year 9 on the Bronze B trip, full details regarding the expedition have been distributed via email.

Your expedition assessors will upload your assessor reports onto eDofE for you before the end of term. In the meantime, please continue to sign off your volunteering, physical and skills sections. For gold participants, prioritise booking your residential.

Please could all expedition kit borrowed from school be returned by the end of term. A large amount of equipment is still to be returned to the school store. Please return to the PE Office or the Student Hub, label the items with your name so we are able to sign them back in.
