Parents' Reading Group

Wednesday 16 September - 7.00pm

The Parents' Reading Group has been running for very many years now. A group of parents get together in the library once a month to discuss a book we have all previously agreed on. It's an opportunity for readers to share their reading interests with others and to pick up suggestions to broaden their own reading. We are very eclectic in our tastes and completely unpretentious. We'd welcome newcomers in September and can guarantee all a warm and friendly welcome.

Circumstances permitting, we'll be meeting again on Wednesday 16 September in the library at 7.00pm. We are likely to finish at about 9.00pm. Many of us have kept in touch about books through email, but of course we have not been able to meet for some time. For the September session, it seems best for each of us to come along and share a few highlights of our reading over the past few months so we can all go away with a few recommendations and can settle on a book we will all read ready for our next session. All dates for next term will be in the school calendar. We look forward to you joining us next term and here's to some happy reading over the summer!
