College Feast Day - Tuesday 10 December 2024

Tuesday 10 December 2024

On Tuesday 10 December, we will be celebrating the 170th anniversary of the founding of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in 1854, the esteemed founders of our College.

As part of the annual celebrations, students are permitted to wear their house tops along with their normal uniform for the day.

The day will include the traditional sharing of Princethorpe cookies within tutor groups and special assemblies where we will join together in song to compete in the annual House singing competition.

During the assembly, we will also celebrate the House Awards for the 2023–2024 academic year.

Thank you for your continued support as we come together to honour this important milestone in our College's history.

Parking Arrangements At Drop-Off And Pick-Up

We kindly remind you of the importance of adhering to the set parking arrangements during drop-off and pick-up times.

Recently, we have received concerns from parents, staff, and pupils regarding parking practices, including reports of parental aggression.

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone:

  • Drop-off and pick-up must only take place in the designated playground area. The staff car park is not to be used for this purpose until after 4.10 pm and then is reserved for collection from Prep.
  • The speed limit is 10 miles per hour within the school grounds. This is crucial to protect the safety of all children and staff. Please do not exceed this limit.
  • We expect all interactions to be conducted respectfully. Aggressive or rude behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Could we ask that your consideration is also extended to the residents of Princethorpe when you drive through Princethorpe village

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in fostering a safe and respectful school environment for everyone.
