In the interests of well being and all round support we are now able to issue an iSAMS Well Being Notification to parents from the Medical Centre. If a pupil is attending regularly we will inform parents via the notification. In addition if a pupil has missed a lesson due to pastoral reasons we will be able to keep you informed.
There is a terrific amount of named and unnamed items in lost property at the Student Hub; please ask your child to check lost property even if they don’t think that they have mislaid anything. All unclaimed items will be going to support a charity at the end of this term. A member of staff is currently involved with a charity in Zimbabwe who are looking for clothing for children’s homes and clinics.

We have several members of our community who have severe nut allergies. Whilst our kitchens operate a 'no nut' policy, we would like to remind parents who are sending in snacks or packed lunches, could they please not include items that may contain nuts or traces of nuts. The most recent Parent Toolkit webinar, entitled Online Safety took place on Tuesday 15 March. Mr Compton shared advice on how to talk to your children about their online activities as well as technical guidance on keeping home and mobile internet connections secure, managing your child’s device use and the dangers of online gaming and gambling and how to recognise issues in these areas and support your child with them. The recording of the webinar can be found on the Parent Toolkit section of My School Portal.
