On Monday 30 April 2018 the Immunisation team will be in school to offer the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine to girls in Year 8 and 9. The first dose is usually given in Year 8, the second in Year 9.
Further information and consent forms have been sent home with Year 8 girls this week. Please return the signed consent form to the medical centre after the Easter break. If you do not wish for your daughter to receive the vaccine please annotate on the form accordingly and return anyway so that our records can be updated
For girls in Year 9 consent was given for both doses last year – you don’t need to do anything unless something has changed and you no longer want the second dose, in that case please do contact me.
