U13A Girls' Hockey Team Put On A Brave Battle Against Kingston

On Thursday 18 January the U13A Girls' Hockey team played Kingston Grammar School from London in the quarter finals of the Independent Schools' Hockey Cup.

At the start of the game we came out strong with great determination and had some good chances in the first few minutes. Throughout the match we showed great levels of skill but unfortunately Kingston managed to slip through our line of defence to make it 1-0 at half time.

Heading in to the second half we fought back and maintained our resillience and positive attitudes throughout which resulted in a close finish of a 2-1 win to Kingston. Even though we lost, we tried new skills and we were very happy with our performance. Our player of the match was Jasmin Rose because of her amazing saves.

Thank you for all the support.

Evie Phillips (Captain)
