The College PTA invites you to take part in their Virtual Burns Night Quiz on Friday 29 January.
The quiz will run from 7.30pm to 9.00pm and promises to be a Scottish themed extravaganza in aid of Mary’s Meals, the Scottish-based charity, which is so close to Princethorpe’s heart..
Featuring some of Rabbie Burns’ renowned poetry and including six rounds of 10 questions each, with topics such as Geography, Music, Sport, Celebrities, Landmarks and General Knowledge all with a Scottish slant, there are sure to be questions to suit all the family.
There is no charge to take part in the quiz, but we are asking families to kindly donate to the College’s ongoing project with Mary’s Meals supporting the feeding programme at Makalanga School in Malawi. The College is just under half way towards its £10,000 target for this year’s fundraising. All donations made before Sunday 31 January 2021 will also benefit from the Government’s pledge to match funding and thus double your donation to this deserving cause. Family teams or individual entrants are welcome. There are no prizes for this quiz, but House points will be awarded to all who take part.
