Sixth Form Blue Day - Raising Funds For Men's Mental Health and Prostate Cancer

Friday 15 February 2019

The last day of the half term sees the return of our annual ‘Blue Day’.  Blue Day is a day run by the Sixth Form in order to raise money for charity.  This year, the charity they are supporting is called ‘Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride’, a charity with which Dr Carrington-Howell is involved that raises money for men’s mental health and prostate cancer.

The Sixth Form will be adorned in blue fancy dress, whilst the rest of the school is invited to come in non-school uniform in return for a £2 charity donation.  Pupils are reminded to bring in some spare change if they would like to make a purchase from the cake sale in the Sixth Form centre at break time and in order to view the eagerly anticipated lunchtime netball match between the netball girls and the rugby boys.
