Our first two weeks in school have been calm and purposeful with new pupils settling into their Tutor Groups. School life has of course been overshadowed by the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Along with the rest of the nation we offer our condolences to the Royal Family and give thanks for Her Majesty’s unstinting dedication and service to the country over her remarkable 70-year reign.

In line with DfE guidance, Princethorpe College will be closed on Monday 19 September, the day of the late Queen’s funeral.

The next edition of the Flagpole will be published on Friday 30 September.
