Jaguar Land Rover Summer Work Experience 2022 Programmes

Year 10 and Year 11 programme

Due to limited spaces and specific focus for this programme, pupils must meet the following entry requirements:

GCSE Maths and English Language at grade 4 or higher. Plus three additional GCSEs grade 4 or higher to include one STEM subject or Engineering Vocational qualification level 3/90 credits/540 GLH or higher (predicted acceptable).

You will need to be available to attend the Gaydon site in Warwickshire on either 21 and 22 June 2022 or on 23 and 24 June 2022 .

You will need to be available to attend the Halewood site during w/c 27 June or the Gaydon site w/c 4 July 2022.

Lower Sixth UCAS Information Evening

On Wednesday 27 April, we held our annual information evening for parents on Careers and Higher Education. This was an opportunity to learn more about the university application process and alternatives to university and helps equip parents to support their sons and daughters in this process.

NHS Allied Work Experience Programme

A quick reminder that pupils who wish to participate in the NHS Allied Work Experience Programme on Sunday 8 May 2022 have just one week left to register here

The programme is available for Years 10 to Upper Sixth. 

All pupils will be awarded a Work Experience certificate for participating on the day, and the cost of the course is £10 per person. 

The following healthcare careers will be covered:

Nursing
Midwifery
Paramedicine
Physiotherapy
Occupational Therapy
Dietetics
Radiography
Prosthetics and Orthotics
Speech and language therapy
Pharmacy

The programme will take place via an online portal and run live from 10.00am - 5.00pm, following two patients from their initial accidents through to recovery. Pupils will see the patients interact with a variety of healthcare professionals, and it will also help develop their understanding of a multidisciplinary team.
