Year 7 DT Robot Projects

DT Teacher Mr O’Hara is delighted with the work his Year 7 pupils completed for their recent Robots project. Pupils spent three weeks in the latest lockdown sketching, designing and creating Robots out of materials they had available at home. They developed their free hand sketching and practised a range of design and construction techniques and the results were really impressive.

Mr O’Hara said, “Pupils put in a lot of effort, mastering a range of technical skills and I was very impressed with the results. I wanted to share their great designs with parents.”

You can see some of the pupils' robots in the gallery.

Year 7 DT Club - Monster Projects

There has been some seriously scary creativity happening in our Year 7 DT Club. Challenged to design, make and build a monster, Mr Scopes has been truly frightened by the results.

Well done to everyone and especially to Soren Wasley and Sophie Henry whose work is pictured in the gallery here.
