Sixth Former Dominic Puts His Best Foot Forward

Sixth Former Dominic Turner-Burr has put his best foot forward and so far raised over £1,000.  Dominic’s mammoth fundraising efforts were inspired by a desire to make a difference after finding out about the work of the Life Charity and Mary’ Meals in presentations at school.

First, on Sunday 10 March Dominic took part in the Mary’s Meals challenge of walking 24 miles in seven hours. Despite the inclement weather and challenging terrain, Dominic successfully finished the course raising £384.  Then just four weeks later on Sunday 7 April Dominic took on the Regency 10km run.   He joined almost 2,000 runners on a course around the streets of Leamington Spa coming home in a new personal best time of 42.30 minutes and raising £680.

What a fantastic fundraising effort!
