History Trips To Berlin And Ypres – Spaces Available
The History department Year 8 trip to Ypres takes place between 27 June and 1 July 2019. It is an exciting opportunity to visit the battlefields of WW1, discover how the war was fought and won, and what life was like in the trenches. It is a great introduction to the scheme of work followed in Year 9 which focuses on conflict of the twentieth century and its impact on the people of Europe. The trip is designed to support the History curriculum followed in Key Stages 3, GCSE and A-level, and will contain a mixture of sites related to WW2 and to the experience of Berlin during the Cold War. There is no requirement for pupils to be studying History at GCSE or A-level to be able to come on the trip. Please click here to see the original letter for more information.
Places will be allocated on a first-come-first served basis. Please email peterbucknall@princethorpe.co.uk to reserve a space or for more information on either trip.
