Non-Uniform Day

Friday 19 October 2018

We will have our first non-uniform day of the year next week. Pupils are asked to contribute a donation of £2 for the privilege of wearing their own clothes. Participation is not compulsory. However, if pupils do choose to wear non-uniform they are expected to donate.

Some simple guidelines for appropriate non-uniform attire are published in the pupil’s homework diaries – and we ask parents to please ensure that these guidelines are followed.

We are raising money for Breast Cancer Charities, Myton Hospice and Mary’s Meals.

Mary’s Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding projects in some of the world’s poorest communities, where hunger and poverty prevent children from gaining an education. £13.90 is all it costs to feed a child for a whole school year. By providing a daily meal in a place of learning, Mary’s Meal’s meet the immediate needs of hungry children and encourages them to go to school to gain an education that can, be their ladder out of poverty.
