End Of Term Prayer

'We’re all going on our summer holidays’, so goes the song.

And how true it is for both students and staff. Exams over, sports day events won or lost, Innovation and Adventure Day challenges undertaken and enjoyed by all. Lazy days away from the classroom lie ahead as we reflect on the academic year just passed. Lots of learning and hard work, new subjects or more challenging topics, new teachers, fun and laughter with new friends and of long standing, insights into ourselves and on reflection words or actions best not repeated and a lesson learned. Happy times, twinged with sad times, life goes on but we are all changed in our own individual ways by the events and people we encountered over the past three terms.

So Gracious God we pray:

We give thanks for the love of family and friends.

We give thanks for the talents and gifts received and shared.

We give thanks for the kind words spoken to us.

We give thanks for our health.

We give thanks for teachers and students moving on to a new phase in their lives.

We give thanks for the summer holidays to be filled with adventure and relaxation.

We give thanks for success in exams.

We give thanks for the burdens lifted and the hurts healed.

We give thanks for your guiding presence in our lives.

Amen.

Keeping Children Safe Over The Summer - Information For Parents

As we start our summer holidays, children will be looking forward to having more free time. For many, this will be time spent online. Some parents may worry about what their children are doing online.

I would like to share with you the attached information document on keeping children safe online over the summer holidays. It is a great timely reminder of the key Safety Net messages and how to set parental controls, supporting your commitment to promoting online safety within our school community.

Please see the website link here for information.

I wish you all a lovely Summer and thank you for your ongoing support.
